Re: [PTV1983] Konihi Konacha Nasta - KunteBai

Dear Vasant, Pl add my e-mail ID kmdevnally@sify.com in the blog
list. It is really fun to read the mails about the old memories of
school. As regards to 10/8 class I distinctly remember Shanbhag bai
of English & the Question - Answer Session. She used to ask the
questions (given for home work) in sequence. We all used to prepare
answer of only 2 Questions that will fall as per our no. in the
Queue. It was fun. As said by Pragati, nobody from 10/8 is
contributing to the memory session. Come-on 10/8 Wake up. Any way we
have Allumni meet on 20th April & I am sure all of us will meet to
revive the school days. Looking forward to meet all of you. Thanks
& regards Krishnakumar Devnally vasant_a@yahoo.com: >
Those nicknames! reading them after so many years still bring some
visuals! Great comments by the way! I have one more story to add -
I think this must be 5th standard when we were learning to construct a
sentence in English. Forget who was the teacher. Everybody class came up
with some simple sentences. (Nirupdravi) Gadre was not ready to say his
sentence but finally the teacher made him say it. He said "You are a
fool" I think the teacher never asked him a question ever again! I
also can't forget Chindhya's fight with the girls over stolen Ball
bearing. Remember we used to argue over the airline by watching the
tail of the plane. All this while in the middle of the class (when
planes were taking off from emerency runway and go directly over our
school) Apte bai complained to my Mom about that. But you got to make
the best of the situation. What else can we do in that deafening
sound! Anybody have the old postcards we used to request to the airline
companies? This is great discussion. But Emails get all mixed up and
lost. So I have started a blog for our group at
http://ptvclassof83.blogspot.com/ You can also send an email to
ptv1983.post@blogger.com and it will automatically get posted to the
blog. Currently I have added some folks who can post to this blog.
